WOO-HOO!!!  Here’s some class details:

To the tired, the exhausted, the overstretched…here’s an invitation…

Life can be simple.

What if we celebrated the brave act of….taking a break?

What if simplicity,
comfort, and quiet were the goal?

What if there really was a way to quiet the chatter in our minds and let us recharge our body & soul?

And what if it was fun, too?

Introducing a new eCourse . . .

Soul Comfort

Soul Comfort is a fresh new concept using art and journaling as a means to relax and comfort yourself and to get grounded while dealing with the craziness of every-day living.

This course if full of beautiful projects to fuel your creativity in very simple and easy ways that are meditational and relaxing , beautiful comforting things that will have your soul infused into them so that you want to keep them forever.

Brave Girls Club - Melody RossMelody (course creator and teacher) says, “I want to teach you some new habits of creativity mixed with simplicity that I have learned over the years. Being a recovering hoarder of supplies and techniques, this is really a new way to give yourself permission to do things simply but beautifully.

One of the most wonderful things about this course is that everything fits into one fabric tote bag . . . I wanted to create a whole course where all of the supplies fit into a tiny space so that you could take it everywhere you go…so that you could do it sitting on your bed, on your couch, with your family, do it with your children, in the car, wherever your day takes you. It’s incredible. This has changed my life. This has been something that I have used on my own and I can’t wait to share it with you.”

  1. Pingback: Blog-Fest Week! Soul Comfort Give-Aways by awesome blogging friends!!!! | Brave Girls ClubBrave Girls Club

  2. Lounging on fluffy pillows, curled up soaking up love from the One who made me with the love of my life next to me. Having something hot to drink would also be a must.

  3. I think of sinking into my comfy chair with tea or cocoa and just breathing for a while. Becoming more centered. Thank you very much for the chance!!!

  4. When I hear the words soul comfort I think about being deeply rooted in the ground, I think of being empathic of myself, self care, and being gentle with myself. I have post traumatic stress disorder and spent the summer in trauma treatment centre, soul comfort would help me with the transition from this centre to home, self care, connection to self, and self love.

  5. I will be feeling gratitude for every blessing in my life, provided by my Father in heaven. Then expressing that gratitude creatively completes the “Soul Comfort” time of fellowship. My comfy lounger and a cup of tea (in a pretty cup and saucer) would complete the picture.

  6. I think of the simple things I love: warm sweater, cute boots, a Starbucks mocha and a doodle journal with my favorite pen! It’s these times…

  7. I cannot help but think of a newborn baby that is being snuggled and comforted, feeling safe and protected. That is exactly what Soul Comfort makes me think of. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity to win a spot in Soul Comfort eCourse. I’m just finishing up the Soul Restoration eCourse and this would be a wonderful continuation with Brave Girls. Thank you!! 🙂

  8. When I hear the words “soul comfort” I think of a sense of peace during the chaotic holiday season. I think of warm coffee, quiet, and my puppy laying against me.
Thank you so much for the chance to win!

  9. Soul comfort Makes me think of being able to truly balance my life and work, to have nourishing and delightful food, to light a candle and feel completely at ease with myself and the world

  10. To me the words “soul comfort” give the impression of being whole, healed, filled with peace & joy. It makes me feel as though I am nurtured and loved.

  11. Soul comfort – a Divinely-inspired peace and serenity that warms ones heart from the inside out.

I am so full of joy and gratitude for the Brave Girls group and your willingness to host their contest!! You play an important role in spreading the yummy inspiring goodness of Brave Girls Club!

    Again thanks for hosting!

  12. Soul Comfort = solitude. My primary focus in life is to raise healthy, happy, strong and independent daughters. Over the past year, I have made a bit of progress in taking better care of myself and my daughters have noticed. One of the ways I have done this is by creating more often. It calms me and takes my mind off an incredibly stressful life situation our family is currently experiencing. Fall/Winder is very busy for our family – mixed in with the regular holidays are my wedding anniversary and both of my daughters’ birthdays. This year will be especially difficult for us financially. I would like to take this class because I know I will need all the help I can get to make it through the final months of this year. Thank you for the opportunity to win a spot in the Soul Comfort class!!

  13. When I think of Soul Comfort, I realize that it has only been in terms of something that someone else needed and it was my responsibility and job to provide it to them personally and in my career. As an Oncology Nurse I have always seen the need to provide to my patients and families comfort in the most devastating times of their diagnosis, treatment and other heartbreaking times they struggle with. In my personal life, I struggle with having an aging mother who worked her entire life for her children only to lose most of them. Being single, I fill in the void for her as much as possible.
Now I have recently lost my job of 20 years and I feel so lost…so broken and unsure of what to do.
With the help of very special friends in my life and special Brave Girl Sisters I have realized that what I really need is Soul Comfort of my own. I have given enough and fed enough souls for now without having my soul fed.

You can only give what you have.
It is the time right now for me to feed my soul before I can journey on to what it is meant for me next. Thank you for providing this opportunity to those that need it most….good luck Braves and hope to meet you in Soul Comfort. Denise

  14. When I think of Soul Comfort, I think I mindfulness, a pause to center and balance and be aware of the present moment. This class seems like a great opportunity to do just that. To come home to oneself. Thanks for the chance to win..

  15. For me, soul comfort is an opportunity to nourish and nurture the core of who I am and what I am to others, I am mother, wife, friend, daughter, sister….. In many if these role my job is to nurture and support others. As much as it is a blessing to be everything to everyone, it is very easy to lose who you are to yourself. I turn to comfort foods and items (I.e. a warm fuzzy bathrobe), I look for comfort in the arms of my partner and friends, in the security that my children are safely tucked in at night, but it is harder to turn to what truly feeds my soul…. Creativity, art, time to explore who I am irrespective of the other influences in my life. The opportunity to participate in the soul comfort e class will enable me to put myself first, if even for a little while. It offers the opportunity to be disciplined and inspired in the feeding of my creative spirit, who to me is truly the essence of who I am. Thank you for this opportunity.

  16. I have always naturally felt the need to take care of my family first. I was an only child, took care of my parents as they aged, took care of my 6 children as a single parent. Taking care of myself is very foreign concept to me, even now as a senior person. Life is chaotic, even now, having peace and calm in my life would be a Comfort to my Soul. I think this holiday season will be no different unless I learn a way to simplify and create calm in my life.
    Thank you for this opportunity!

  17. I think of relaxing and allowing myself to spend time with my inner thoughts and remembering who I am outside of all my titles: mom, wife, sister, daughter, teacher, etc.

  18. To me Soul Comfort is being at peace with myself in spite of my circumstances. It means a quiet morning curled up on a comfy couch with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate.

  19. When I hear the words, soul comfort, I think of tension, anger, and stress melting away into a state of pure bliss and peacefulness, wrapped up in a great big hug of forgiving love. In a world where there is so much hurt, and pain, and stress, and life gets unintentionally detoured into the fast lane, it’s important to know how to slow down and take time out to bring comfort to one’s soul.

  20. Wow! Thank you for this chance to win an Awesome experience! I am so tired. Just exhausted. Emotionally spent. I really really need this class. I feel like I am “stuck” and don’t have a way out! Please …. I will be FOREVER grateful! Thank you,
    Stephanie
